DESIGN THINKING AS AN INNOVATIVE TEACHING METHOD FOR MEDIA AND COMMUNICATION COURSES

The objective of this research is to show how design, implement, and establish why the Design thinking-based innovative teaching method more effective. Following an action method, a design pedagogy was introduced among first-year postgraduate media students teach few modules course 'Television Video Production'. An ill-defined story idea for animated sci-fi television series presented student groups, they were asked develop upon as well provide some creative solutions problems. entire activity carried out in five different stages, such Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test. At end activity, effectiveness thinking analyzed. findings suggest that effective imparting 21st-century skills, empathy, critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, creativity, innovation.
